CS3241 Computer Graphics

I had a great time in this module, especially when we had a awesome lecturer; Dr Michael Brown to teach us the basics of computer graphics and did several coding assignments which I felt it was really relevant to what I my career in future.



This is a simulation of a 3D world (top/first person view) with lighting and some simple animation.




Cloth physics simulation using particle systems. Took me some time to get it :)

CS3240 Human Computer Interaction

We did a interactive product demo of the Samsung S5 for this module using Adobe Flash. Features of this demo includes a 360 degree view of the product as well as navigation of different fuctions of the MP3 player such as song selection and picture viewing.

CS3343 Digital Media Production

This module focuses the technical aspects of video production such as video/audio quality, filming techniques, treatment/script writing, story boarding, video editing etc. Sample screenshots and youtube video links as shown below.

CS3249 Elements Of User Interface Design


For this module, we were tasked to implement another group's idea, as specified by the lecturer and create a flash game using WiiMote as controls. The concept of Recyclo was still in line with the design group to create an educational game for kids. I could only show you some screenshots as WiiMote / WiiFlash is required to make this game work (haven't got any idea how to put flash object in blogs at the moment).

A big challenge of making this game is to simulate the "toss" action using WiiMote API as a representation of "throwing rubbish" into the correct recycling bin.

NM3216 Game Design



In this module our group has created a puzzle game called Lights Out using Blender. This objective of this game is to collect the batteries in the maze to prevent the lights from dimming out in a set duration, as shown from the screenshots below.

However, there is a catch. The user will not be able to move his avatar in another direction while moving a chosen path. This adds some form of challenge to the user as he has to plan his moves quickly as the maze dims out, making it hard to navigate.
